Community rallies round Falkirk schoolgirl in hospital after being hit by car

Falkirk Forth Valley Royal Hospital

Well wishes have flooded in for a young schoolgirl hit by a car in Falkirk yesterday.

The 12-year-old was struck on King Street in Stenhousemuir at around 3pm on Monday afternoon.

Paramedics rushed the youngster to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment with a serious head injury.
