The Washington Commanders released their final injury report of the week Friday and ruled out five players for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Here is a list of players who will miss the game with injury for Washington:
- WR Dyami Brown [groin]
- TE Logan Thomas [calf]
- CB William Jackson [back]
- RB Jonathan Williams [knee]
- QB Carson Wentz [right finger]
This is the third consecutive game Thomas has missed. Wentz is out while the team decides whether or not to place him on injured reserve. Jackson remains out with a back injury, but this feels more like the Commanders are keeping him from getting injured further in the hopes that he can be traded. Brown starred against Tennessee two weeks ago but has battled a groin injury since.
Rookie wide receiver Jahan Dotson is questionable. That’s good news considering he aggravated his hamstring on Wednesday. Right tackle Sam Cosmi is also questionable. The Commanders would love to have both players back against Green Bay.
The Packers are without a pair of wide receivers for Sunday in veteran Randall Cobb [ankle] and rookie Christian Watson [hamstring].
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers [right thumb] and left tackle David Bakhtiari [knee] will play.
