The rookie season of Washington rookie defensive back Quan Martin has come to an end.
The second-round pick from Illinois was having a strong performance against the Dallas Cowboys in the regular-season finale before injuring his ankle in the second quarter. Martin had four tackles, broke up one and had an interception before he was lost for the game.

Martin’s rookie season ends with 16 games played, including five starts. He finishes the year with 46 tackles, four passes defended and two interceptions.
Washington’s 2023 draft class was terribly disappointing overall, but the Commanders may have found a gem in Martin. He can play outside cornerback, slot cornerback, free safety, or he can move up in the box.
Martin should be one of the young players the next regime can build around.
