'Coming to Arsenal confirmed!' - Dusan Vlahovic sparks transfer frenzy amid 'goodbye message'

Some Arsenal fans have an amazing theory regarding a January transfer for Dusan Vlahovic.

As previously reported by football.london, the Fiorentina striker is a target for Mikel Arteta, with technical director Edu aiming to complete a reported £63m deal to bolster the Gunners manager's first-team squad.

However, time is running out for Vlahovic to become an Arsenal player this month.

In just under two weeks time the January transfer window will have officially closed, meaning the north London outfit would have to wait until the summer, at the earliest, to sign the 21-year-old if they haven't done so before the deadline.

Should Vlahovic decide to stay put or Arsenal fail to reach an agreement with Fiorentina, Arteta and Edu will have to switch their focus onto another striker target.

Those targets include Jonathan David, Alexander Isak and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

But some Gunners supporters think they have spotted a clear sign that Vlahovic will be making the move to the Emirates Stadium in the coming days.

The Serbia international was in action for Fiorentina on Monday night, atoning for his first-half penalty miss by scoring goal number 17 in Serie A this season in the 51st minute en route to a 6-0 win for the hosts against Genoa.

Interestingly, Vlahovic's celebration has garnered plenty of chatter as he appeared to be apologising to Fiorentina fans.

Whether that was to do with his missed penalty or questions over his future still isn't clear, but Viola manager Vincenzo Italiano has admitted that he doesn’t know what the future holds for the striker.

"At the moment we enjoy Dusan here at Fiorentina, he's with us - I don't know about the future," he said, as quoted by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. "He scored a great goal today. I see him very motivated, he's relaxed."

Amid this update, a number of Arsenal fans have been sent into somewhat of a transfer frenzy as there is a brilliant theory that Vlahovic sent a 'goodbye message' to the Fiorentina supporters.
