Top comedian Joanne McNally has been left on crutches as she reveals she stepped on a pint glass and smashed it while getting out of bed.
The Dubliner showed off her bloodied foot as she revealed on social media she had to get stitches after glass went through her foot.
She said: “I’m having a mare. My foot, I got up this morning and stood on a pint glass of water and smashed the whole thing into my foot so I had to get stitches and I have to rent crutches from Argos.”

It comes after Joanne recently returned from a trip with new beau Alan Byrne.
Alan has been well-known on the Dublin social scene for years, having worked as a model and DJ.
The pair met on celebrity dating app, Raya.
Joanne opened up about her relationship with Alan, saying: “Both of us put Raya in a folder, it's very hard to get on. No one's deleting Raya, we've just put it in a folder...
“We were like ‘okay let's not lose our minds here’. Pushing out a kid, walking down the aisle, Raya might get deleted. Until that point we're both keeping Raya,” she previously said on her podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me.
