Manchester City came from 2-0 down to beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 in a scintillating second-half display at the Etihad on Thursday evening.
The home side saw plenty of the ball during the first 45 minutes but went into the break two goals down, thanks to goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal. Ederson's mistake in possession handed Spurs the opener on 44 minutes and when Antonio Conte's side got their second a smattering of boos rang around the ground.
But fresh from a Pep Guardiola grilling, City came flying out of the blocks after the break. Julian Alvarez pulled on back on 51 minutes before Erling Haaland levelled two minutes later. And when Riyad Mahrez arrowed his effort past Hugo Lloris' near post the comeback was complete, much to the joy of the City fans.
