NEW YORK—Comcast NBCUniversal and NBCUniversal Local, a division of NBCUniversal that includes NBC/Telemundo owned stations, has announced that 81 nonprofits will receive a combined total of $2.475 million in unrestricted grants.
The grants will help the nonprofits improve their local communities and provide programming in three grant categories: Next Generation Storytellers, Youth Education & Empowerment, and Community Engagement, the company said.
