Comcast NBCUniversal Gives Out Nearly $2.5 Million in Community Grants

Comcast NBCUniversal and NBCUniversal Local have given $2.475 million in grant money to 81 nonprofit organizations that are improving their communities with programming in three categories — Next Generation Storytellers, Youth Education & Empowerment and Community Engagement. 

The nonprofit organizations are in the New York, Southern California, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas-Fort Worth, Boston, Hartford, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., South Florida, San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego DMAs.
