Escalating tensions between the Hells Angels and Comanchero bikie gangs could be behind two recent drive-by shootings in Adelaide's north, police say.
A Comanchero member has faced court today over one of the shootings — at an Ingle Farm home last month.
Ethan Ericson, 26, was charged with discharging a firearm, possessing a firearm without a licence and affray.
The Andrews Farm man was remanded in custody and will face court again in October.
A Craigmore woman, 27, has been charged with aiding the man and failing to answer questions.
Officers from the Crime Gangs Task Force say they went to the house after members of the public reported gunshots on June 23.
They allegedly found a shotgun shell outside the house, as well as damage to the front door, a window and the garage roller door.
"Our investigations are moving quickly and, despite the arrest yesterday, the Crime Gangs Task Force are continuing the search for the firearm and the driver of a silver Ford Focus who may have assisted with this crime," Chief Inspector David Huddy said.
"If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of this gun, I encourage you to contact police too so you do not end up being a secondary victim of this crime."
Detectives believe the Ingle Farm shooting could be linked to a second shooting at a Munno Para West home over the weekend.
Police say in the past few weeks they have arrested two Hells Angels members who were found with guns and ammunition in breach of firearm prohibition orders.
One of the Hell Angels members was arrested for committing domestic violence against his partner after police found a loaded handgun in his possession.
"Now and again there are tensions and we deploy our resources, overtly and covertly, to engage with the gangs in preventative activity, and we also use enforcement methods, and that's what you're seeing now," Chief Inspector Huddy said.
Police are expected to make further arrests in the next few days.
