Columbia University selects its new president following a tumultuous two years

Columbia University has named Jennifer Mnookin, the chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as its next president, seeking to move past two years of turmoil.

This included campus protests over the Israel-Hamas war and a subsequent campaign by the Trump administration to squelch student activism and force changes at the Ivy League school.
