The Indianapolis Colts have a busy week scheduled with workouts set for the top four quarterback prospects in the 2023 NFL draft, and two of them are coming on the same day Monday.
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Colts are traveling Monday to Southern California in order to hold workouts for Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud and Alabama’s Bryce Young.
The Colts are working out both Ohio State QB CJ Stroud and Alabama QB Bryce Young today in Southern California (where the QBs are training), per sources. Indy was sparsely repped at the QB Pro Days, preferring to do it this way.
They'll get a close look at all the top QBs.

The Colts won’t be working these prospects out at the same time, but they will be doing so on the same day. This gives them the chance to get a close look at both the prospect and the person in a controlled setting without other distractions or teams looking on.
It’s likely the Colts are opting to kill two birds with one stone because both Stroud and Young are working out in California.
Both Stroud and Young are expected to be the first two quarterbacks taken off the board before the Colts are on the clock. But that’s not keeping them from doing their homework in the event one of them falls to the No. 4 overall pick.
It’s impossible to know what will happen during the draft at the end of April, but the Colts are getting their work done this week with the quarterback prospects.
We’ll be tracking the Colts’ reported interest in the 2023 draft class so be sure to keep up with latest updates via our tracker.
