The Indianapolis Colts (0-0-1) and Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) released their update injury reports Thursday ahead of the Week 1 matchup at TIAA Bank Field.
There are some big names on the injury list for the Colts, and going into the final practice of the week, there are plenty of concerns about the potential impact those players will have.
Here’s a look at the updated injury report Thursday for the Colts in Week 2:
*DNP = Did Not Participate — LP = Limited Participant — FP = Full Participant*
Player | Injury | Wed. (9/14) | Thur. (9/15) | Fri. (9/16) | Status |
DT DeForest Buckner | Hip | DNP | DNP
WR Alec Pierce | Concussion | DNP | LP
CB Kenny Moore II | Hip | LP | DNP
WR Michael Pittman Jr. | Quad | LP | DNP
LB Shaquille Leonard | Back | FP | FP |
Notes
- DT DeForest Buckner didn’t practice for the second day in a row. Logging at least a limited session Friday would be huge for his status.
- WR Alec Pierce is in the concussion protocol but seems to be making progress. It’s still unclear if he’ll be cleared in time for the game.
- WR Michael Pittman Jr. and CB Kenny Moore II were both downgraded Thursday. Hopefully, it was due to rest, but being downgraded mid-week is never a good sign.
- LB Shaquille Leonard practiced in full on consecutive days for the first time since the season started.
- S Trevor Denbow (ankle) remains on the injured reserve list.
The Jaguars didn’t have any players listed on their injury report for the first two practices of the week.
The final injury report with designations will be released Friday so that should give us a better idea of the statuses of some players.
