Coming off a win over the Tennessee Titans, the Indianapolis Colts will be back on the road in Week 17 against the New York Giants. So who is the early betting favorite and by how much?
Kickoff will be at 1:00 PM ET at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The game will be broadcast on FOX.
Against a two-win Giants team, the Colts are heavy favorites early in the week. As of Tuesday, BetMGM has the Colts as -8 point favorites in this matchup. The over/under is set at 40.5 total points, and the Colts’ money line is -400, while the Giants’ money line is +310.
Against the spread this season, the Colts are 9-6 and the Giants are 4-11.
Although the Colts’ playoff chances at this point are slim, those hopes do still exist coming into this game. However, as I’m sure you can imagine, in addition to the Colts needing to win out, they need quite a bit of help from others as well.
At 2-13 on the season, the Giants hold the worst record in football and have lost 10 straight games. Their defense ranks 25th in points per game allowed and the offense ranks 32nd, averaging just 14.3 points per game with instability at the quarterback position.
