The Indianapolis Colts (9-7) released their unofficial depth chart ahead of the Week 18 matchup against the Houston Texans (9-7)
The term “unofficial” should be taken to heart here as the pecking order could change on a whim. Still, we’re here to take a look at the depth chart going into the win-and-in matchup against the Texans.
Here’s a look at the unofficial Week 18 depth chart for the Colts:
Offense
Notes
- Roster Changes: TE Drew Ogletree was placed on the Commissioner Exempt List following his arrest for domestic battery. WR Juwann Winfree was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad.
- The rotation between TEs Kylen Granson and Mo Alie-Cox are pretty split right now, but much of it has been due to certain game scripts.
- The Colts could see the return of Zack Moss this week, but the backfield is still going to mostly belong to Jonathan Taylor.
Defense
Notes
- Roster Changes: None from the previous week.
- Despite being listed as the starter, S Rodney Thomas II lost his role. He played just two defensive snaps in Week 17.
- Conversely, Ronnie Harrison Jr. played 97% of the defensive snaps in Week 17 so it’s safe to assume he will be taking on the versatile role replacing Julian Blackmon in Gus Bradley’s defense.
Special Teams
Notes
- Roster Changes: None from the previous week.
