The Indianapolis Colts signed cornerback Tony Brown, the team announced Tuesday.
Brown, 26, originally entering the NFL in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama. He signed with the Los Angeles Chargers following the draft but was waived during final roster cuts.
Brown signed with the Green Bay Packers two days later to their practice squad and spent the majority of the season on the active roster. Brown played in 11 games (three starts) during the 2018 season and appeared in nine games during the 2019 season.
He was waived before the end of the 2019 regular season. Brown was then claimed by the Cincinnati Bengals and spent the 2020 season there while appearing in 13 games.
Brown also spent some time on the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad during the 2021 season.
In 33 career games (four starts), Brown has recorded 58 tackles (44 solo), three tackles for loss and six passes defended.
