The Indianapolis Colts have officially set their initial 53-man roster for the 2023 season, making the necessary moves before Tuesday’s deadline.
While the waiver claim period that immediately follows will bring more changes to the roster, this is essentially the foundation of what the Colts will be working with during the first year of Shane Steichen’s tenure as head coach.

The next phase will include making waiver claims—the Colts sit at No. 4 in the priority order—and assembling the 16-player practice squad. We’ll have a tracker for the practice squad coming shortly.
