Indianapolis Colts linebacker Shaquille Leonard and offensive tackle Bernhard Raimann were ruled out for the Week 3 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to head coach Frank Reich on Friday.
Despite practicing in full for the second week in a row, Leonard seemingly isn’t ready yet after undergoing back surgery in June. This will leave a massive void in the middle of the defense for the third week in a row.
Raimann popped up on the injury report this week with an ankle injury. He was able to log a limited practice on Thursday but still isn’t ready to go.
Reich also mentioned that defensive end Yannick Ngakoue (back) will be questionable while wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr. (quad) and Alec Pierce (concussion) are expected to play.
The final injury report for the Colts will be released Friday afternoon and will include the designations.
