The Indianapolis Colts made plenty of noise during Day 2 of the 2022 NFL draft when they moved around the board and wound up adding four players to the roster.
The day started with a trade back from No. 42 overall, adding extra third-round and sixth-round picks but giving up their fourth-rounder to do so. Later in the day, the Colts traded back into the third round with the Denver Broncos, giving up their fifth-rounder and a 2023 third-round pick.
With the final day of the draft already here, this is the updated slate of selections for the Colts:
- Round 2, No. 53 overall: WR Alec Pierce, Cincinnati
- Round 3, No. 73 overall: TE Jelani Woods, Virginia
- Round 3, No. 77 overall: OT Bernhard Raimann, Central Michigan
- Round 3, No. 96 overall: S Nick Cross, Maryland
- Round 5, No. 159 overall
- Round 6, No. 192 overall (via MIN)
- Round 6, No. 216 overall (compensatory)
- Round 7, No. 239 overall
There is a chance this order is changed if the Colts wind up trading around the draft board again. The Colts will also begin signing undrafted rookie free agents immediately following the draft so we’ll have a tracker ready to go.
