The Indianapolis Colts (3-5-1) will be on the road in Week 10 taking on the Las Vegas Raiders (2-6) at Allegiant Stadium.
Even though this is being written Wednesday, the Colts have already had themselves a week. They fired former head coach Frank Reich and made an unprecedented move hiring Jeff Saturday as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
It’s not a surprise that the Colts are underdogs for this matchup in the eyes of Vegas, but it is a bit of a surprise that the line hasn’t moved much since the shocking news started pouring in Monday.
According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Colts will open the week as six-point underdogs to the Raiders in Week 10:
Spread | Moneyline | Total Points | |
Indianapolis Colts (3-5-1) | +6 | +205 | O 42.5 -110 |
Las Vegas Raiders (2-6) | -6 | -260 | U 42.5 -110 |
Being only six-point underdogs may be a testament to the rough year the Raiders are going through. At least for them, the majority of their issues have come on the field.
With Saturday coming in as the interim head coach with no experience beyond a few years at the high school level, he named Parks Frazier the offensive play-caller to begin his tenure.
While the offense has been in shambles, scoring just 29 points over the last three games, the defense has been pretty solid for the majority of the season under Gus Bradley.
We’ll see if the line shifts at all throughout the week, but the Colts will be going into Vegas as underdogs by a touchdown this week.
