The Colts have found a resurgence over the last month. They’ve beaten some struggling teams and had their bye week during that span and even though the Titans are not playing like the formidable unit we’ve come accustomed to seeing over the last few years, they still present a challenge.
According to Vegas Insider, the Colts are currently 8-4 against the spread this season while 66.7% of their games have hit the over. Conversely, the Bengals are 5-7 against the spread.
In a battle of the backups, the Colts will be facing rookie Jake Browning, who had an impressive showing on Monday Night Football, leading the Bengals to an upset win in overtime over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Browning completed 32-of-37 passes for 354 yards, one passing touchdown, no interceptions and a 115.5 passer rating. He also added two rushes for 22 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Meanwhile, the Colts have been riding their opportunistic defense on the back of a strong pass rush. As wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. has been a true catalyst for the offense, Indy will once again lean on the services of Zack Moss to lead the backfield.
The Colts are 5-1 on the road this season while the Bengals are 3-3 at home. They just won their first game with Browning under center so this should be an interesting matchup.
