The Indianapolis Colts made several roster moves both to the active roster and practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.
Following the news that defensive tackle Grover Stewart will miss the next six games due to suspension, the team added a player to the active roster while making a few changes to the practice squad.
Here’s a look at the moves the Colts made Tuesday:
Signed WR Juwann Winfree
Winfree was released from the practice squad last week. He maxed out his three gameday elevations from the practice squad through the first three weeks of the season before he was released. Winfree is the sixth wide receiver in the room now.
Restored C Jack Anderson to practice squad
Anderson was signed to the practice squad in September and immediately placed on the practice squad injured list. It’s essentially a reserve list for injured players on the practice squad so he now is a part of the 16-man group.
Signed WR Tyrie Cleveland to practice squad
The Florida product and former seventh-round pick is known for his deep speed and elite athleticism.
Signed RB Zavier Scott to practice squad
A training camp standout, Scott was waived with an injury settlement in August but now returns after fully recovering from a knee injury.
Released WR Racey McMath from practice squad
McMath joined the Colts’ practice squad immediately after roster cuts in August and spent the first six weeks of the season on the squad but was never elevated.
Released WR Anthony Miller from practice squad
The former second-round pick was signed to the practice squad last week.
Released G Dakoda Shepley from practice squad
Shepley spent time with the team during the 2023 offseason and was signed to the practice squad in September.
