Colts LT Bernhard Raimann considered ‘limited’ in Wednesday’s Week 13 walkthrough

Indianapolis Colts’ head coach Shane Steichen would tell reporters that left tackle Bernhard Raimann will be considered limited for Wednesday’s walkthrough.

Since there isn’t an actual practice taking place today, the injury report will be an estimation of each player’s participation had there been a traditional practice held.

This will be the third Wednesday in a row that the Colts will hold a walkthrough rather than a full-on practice. With their bye week so late in the schedule, this is one way to be mindful of the players’ workload.

Raimann has missed the last two games while dealing with a knee injury that he sustained in the Colts’ Week 10 matchup with Buffalo. Before that, Raimann had missed Week 9 against Minnesota with a concussion.

On the year, Raimann ranks 23rd in pass-blocking efficiency out of 79 eligible tackles and 19th in run-blocking grade, according to Pro Football Focus.

In place of Raimann has been rookie Matt Goncalves, who over the last few weeks, has been able to hold his own in pass protection but has struggled to generate steady movement in the run game.

Collectively, the Colts’ offensive line unit is coming off a rough performance against Detroit, where several penalties wiped out big plays and Anthony Richardson often had defenders in his lap.

The run game as well, in recent weeks, has really struggle to get going.

The New England defense will enter Week 13 ranked 12th in yards per rush allowed at 4.3 and 10th in ESPN’s pass rush win rate metric.
