Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson and the rest of the starters may play up to the entire first half of the preseason finale Thursday night at Lincoln Financial Field.
According to Larra Overton of the team’s website, head coach Shane Steichen said Richardson and the starters are expected to play at least a quarter and a half with the chance of playing the entire first half of the game.
Steichen also mentioned a few injured Colts returning to the field for the Thursday night finale.
HC Shane Steichen tells me the Colts starters, including QB Anthony Richardson will play a quarter & a half to a full half tonight against Philly.
DeForest Buckner, Mo Alie-Cox, and Drew Ogletree who returned to practice this week are also expected to play.#Colts #ForTheShoe

Richardson didn’t get to play in the second preseason game due to the reps he received during joint training camp practices with the Chicago Bears. This will be the final tune-up for the rookie starter before the team hosts the Jacksonville Jaguars at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 1.
After Thursday night, the Colts will begin cutting the roster down to 53 players before the deadline Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 4:00 p.m. ET.
