In what has to be one of the wildest games in recent college football history that bled late into the night with double overtime, Colorado vs Colorado State ended in a massive win for Deion Sanders and his Buffaloes. Perhaps what is a bit understated in all the drama surrounding such a huge game with lots of interesting narratives, is the amount of NFL talent that was showcased. A national audience may not usually watch these two teams, so to have the stars come out and show what they can do pulled back the curtain on future NFL talent.
The most obvious of this talent being the son of head coach Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders, who looks every bit the star as his father was in college. Sanders was able to show off his uncanny playmaking ability, making throws from every different angle with pressure on his back seemingly every play. His rocket arm, athletic ability, leadership, and understanding of what is in front of him was well on display. There was questions about his ability to play in the NFL coming into the season, but now the only debate about Sanders is how high in the first round he should go.
Another surprise for the national audience was the complete dominance of Colorado State edge rusher Mohamed Kamara, who was perhaps the best player on the field on Saturday. The senior defensive lineman was a complete game-wrecker for the Rams and almost tipped the game into their favor. Kamara ultimately came away with a pair of sacks, but it felt like he hit quarterback Shedeur Sanders a dozen times on the night. His ability to harass the quarterback was present all night, and it felt like every play Kamara was making on play on defense.
Kamara defined the Colorado State defense, and locked himself in as an NFL draft pick who could move himself all the way up to the early round if he continues his dominance.

Other names that put themselves into consideration to hear their name on draft day were Colorado State tight end Dallin Hooker, who made an absolutely ridiculous catch and run to try and close out the game, and Shilo Sanders, the other son of Deion Sanders who made a huge pick six for the team and was consistently reliable in coverage.
Wow that is a BACKBREAKING touchdown by Dallin Holker to give Colorado State a two possession lead….
