Deion Sanders will look to get his Colorado program back on track Saturday after consecutive Pac-12 losses to conference powerhouses Oregon and USC. The Buffaloes (3–2) will get the chance to do exactly that on the road in Tempe against Arizona State (1–4).
Colorado showed plenty of fight last weekend against the Trojans in a matchup that initially looked as if it might get out of hand quickly. Despite trailing 34–14 at half, the Buffaloes—led by star quarterback Shedeur Sanders—battled back and nearly pulled off the upset before ultimately falling, 48–41. Shedeur finished the game with 371 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
While Colorado has rocketed into the national spotlight under Coach Prime, Arizona State has struggled to get off the ground in 2023 under first-year coach Kenny Dillingham. Without true freshman starting quarterback Jaden Rashada, the Sun Devils lost 24–21 to Cal last week and still have four ranked opponents on the schedule, so Saturday’s contest against the Buffaloes may be one of the program’s best remaining chances to scrape out a win this season.
Here’s how to watch Saturday’s Pac-12 tilt between Colorado and Arizona State.
