Colorado star Travis Hunter returned to the practice for the first time since suffering a gruesome injury in the Buffaloes’ game against Colorado State on Sept. 16, according to a video clip posted on social media.
Darius Sanders of The People Media tweeted a video on Monday of Hunter doing one-on-one drills with wide receiver Omarion Miller, who registered a breakout performance in Colorado’s 48–41 loss to USC on Sept. 30. Hunter’s appearance in practice comes nearly a week after Colorado football coach Deion Sanders said he would like the two-way star to “be out” until the Buffaloes’ bye week.

The two-way star missed his third consecutive game in Colorado’s 27–24 road win on Saturday against Arizona State. The Buffaloes (4–2) will face Stanford (1–4) on Friday night before entering the open week.
With Hunter back in practice, the chance to play against the Cardinal has not been ruled out. The defensive back/wide receiver has registered nine tackles, two pass deflections, and one interception defensively while registering 16 receptions for 213 yards on offense through three games this season.
