Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders has become one of college football’s most exciting talents, and he paid homage to his old man, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, on a touchdown run against Nebraska on Saturday.
While the Buffaloes led 29-7 in the fourth quarter, Sanders ran in a touchdown from just outside the goal line and busted out one of his dad’s touchdown dances from his NFL playing days.
It had to feel good if you’re Deion Sanders to see your son dominate in such a way and pay tribute to you on the field.
This is a special season for Colorado, and the Sanders family is a big reason as to why.

It’s hard to really sum up what this moment means for a college football team that went 1-11 last season and has now doubled its win total from 2022.
However, it’s also an incredible moment for the Sanders family, one that establishes them as some of college football’s shining stars this season.
