A Colorado CEO, identified as 55-year-old Lucas N. Kalisher, has been charged with assault after an incident at an In-N-Out restaurant in Loveland. The Loveland Police Department responded to reports of a fight at the fast-food establishment, where a 15-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by Kalisher.
According to police, the teenage boy and his friends were engaged in playful behavior, splashing water on each other when a nearby customer was inadvertently splashed. The boy approached the woman to apologize when Kalisher, who was accompanying her, reportedly grabbed the teen, placed his hands around his neck, and threw him to the ground.
Kalisher fled the scene before law enforcement arrived but later turned himself in after being identified through witness accounts and video footage. He has been charged with second-degree strangulation, a felony, and child abuse, a misdemeanor. Kalisher, who serves as the CEO of Summit Source Funding LLC in the Denver area, was arraigned following the incident.
In response to the incident, Loveland Police Chief Tim Doran expressed gratitude for the community's assistance in identifying Kalisher. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in law enforcement efforts, stating, 'The Loveland Police Department is very appreciative of the assistance we received from the community during this investigation. This is a perfect illustration of our new Vision Statement: ONE Community, ONE Police Department, ONE Team.'
