Rantanen's goals came in quick succession early in the third period, breaking a 3-3 tie and propelling Colorado to the win. Valeri Nichushkin, Yakov Trenin, Artturi Lehkonen, and Josh Manson also contributed goals for the Avalanche, with Nathan MacKinnon and Devon Toews each providing two assists.
