Colombia Advances To Copa America Final After Intense Match

Colombia secured a spot in the Copa America championship game for the first time in 23 years after a hard-fought victory over Uruguay. Jefferson Lerma's goal in the 39th minute sealed a 1-0 win, setting up a showdown with defending champion Argentina on Sunday.

Despite playing the second half with 10 men following Daniel Muñoz's ejection, Colombia managed to hold off Uruguay's relentless attacks. This victory marked Colombia's first appearance in the championship game since their triumph as hosts in 2001.
