Welcome to December football, where college football games pack a little extra meaning.
The 14th week of the college football season is hardly crowded, but conference championship games are plentiful. There’s a huge matchup in the Big 12 between the Kansas State Wildcats and the TCU Horned Frogs that could impact the College Football Playoff picture.
A win for Sonny Dykes’ 12-0 Horned Frogs would land them a spot in the CFP for the first time ever, while a loss would all but spoil their chances.
Kansas State entered the neutral site conference championship showdown as the small underdog over at BetMGM, but that didn’t stop national media members from showing confidence in the Wildcats to get the job done.
With ESPN’s College GameDay in Arlington at the scene of the Kansas State-TCU clash, Lee Corso broke out the headgear as he make his pick. His choice? Willie the Wildcat.

Bold move from Corso to break out the K-State headgear as he sat just to the left of TCU-great Ladanian Tomlinson, but that’s what makes this show great.
