Saturday night’s Colorado-Colorado State had some late-week fuel added the fire at the hands of Rams coach Jay Norvell, who took a sideswipe at Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders.
But while Norvell, who made it known he takes his hat and sunglasses off when he talks “to grown-ups,” his team’s 43-35 two-overtime loss to Coach Prime and company was highlighted by a number of egregious hits and questionable plays.
Specifically, the play that left Colorado’s Travis Hunter injured after an incredibly late hit on the sidelines from Henry Blackburn drew massive backlash from fans.
