The wait is over. College football bowl season begins on Friday, before the clock even strikes noon ET.
A pair of early games kick off the FBS postseason on Friday, with a pair of 6–6 teams—UAB and Miami (Ohio)—facing off in the always-entertaining Bahamas Bowl. That is followed by a truly intriguing matchup of Group of 5 squads–No. 24 Troy vs. No. 25 UTSA in the Cure Bowl.
In total, including the College Football Playoff semifinal games and national championship, there are 42 bowl games on the slate to end the 2022–23 season.
