Krishna District Collector J. Nivas has said the government received 2,880 objections and suggestions related to the formation of new districts within the Krishna district.
Mr. Nivas, along with other officials, inspected the construction works of the new Collectorate for NTR district in Vijayawada on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nivas said most of the suggestions were related to change in the borders of the new districts, inclusion of Nuzvid division in NTR district, and formation of separate divisions for Vuyyuru, Mylavaram and others.
About the new Collectorate, Mr. Nivas said the Collector’s chamber, videoconference room, mini conference hall, Joint Collector’s office, meeting hall, District Revenue Officer’s office and others were coming up on the premises of the Sub-Collector’s office, while additional administration offices would be set up on the premises of the Montessori educational institutions. He said all arrangements would be made by April 2 as per schedule.
