Colin Farrell’s brother Eamonn has paid tribute to his former dance colleague, Mark “Sparky” Sheehan of The Script. 46-year-old guitarist Sheehan sadly passed away on Friday after a short illness, leaving behind wife, Rina and their three young children.
Mark was a former dance teacher at a performing arts school run by Eamon and his business partner, Jill Doyle.
They posted an emotional statement on their Instagram account: “Heartfelt condolences to all," they wrote.

“When we set up the school almost 30 years ago at The Factory, long before he was known around the world as part of The Script, Mark Sheehan was our very first Hip Hop teacher.
“With his great friend John O’Dwyer, they were a dance team unlike anything Dublin had ever seen. ‘John and Sparky’ spent their weekends with us at NPAS teaching hundreds of kids what it was like to fall in love with music and dance and performing.
“And that is what Mark did back then, and what he continued to do around the world with his band.
“We are so sad to hear that he has left us all so soon.
“The final curtain has come down way too early. Sparky, we will never forget you. Jill and Eamon.”
