Coleen Rooney is reportedly fully supporting her husband Wayne 's latest career move to America.
The ex-England and Manchester United star, 36, is set to move to the US after being unveiled as the new manager of MLS side DC United earlier this week.
However, Coleen, also 36, will remain in England with the couple's sons - Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass.
But while the mother-of-four has no plans to uproot to Washington, she is apparently "100 percent behind" her husband's new role.
Coleen previously spent time in the US with her husband and sons during Wayne's 18-month stint as a footballer for the team.
A source told the Mail Online : "The opportunity for Wayne to manage in America came out of the blue. It was a bit of a SOS from the club to Wayne to help them out.
"But Wayne and Coleen obviously discussed it and she is 100 percent behind the move because she realises what a great opportunity it is for Wayne.
"There was no chance she was ever going to tell him not to go and she hopes to get out to America with the boys as much as she can to cheer on the team and to support Wayne."
The Mirror has contacted Wayne and Coleen's representatives for comment.
Meanwhile, according to The Sun, Coleen wants a close relative - such as her brother Anthony McLoughlin - to chaperone Rooney in the US.
It comes after Wayne was previously arrested in the US in December 2018, charged with public intoxication and use of profanity in public.
"Wayne has assured Coleen he won’t let her down," a source told the publication.
"Things are different to when he was a player and he needs to lead by example on and off the field so he won’t be slipping back into bad habits. But Coleen is still worried.
“Although she trusts Wayne she knows he can be easily led which is why she’d like her brother or one of Wayne’s brothers to be out there too to keep an eye on him. It would make Coleen feel a lot happier. It’s something they did before. It helped to keep her up to date with what was going on, and Coleen wants to keep a close eye on him."
Wayne touched upon Coleen's reaction to the news during a press conference on Tuesday.
"Any major decisions I make like this are discussed with my wife," he said at his unveiling. "My family will, for the time being, stay in England and come over and visit. There were a few other clubs - both in England and in Europe - who got in touch.
"My plan really was to, after Derby County, take a bit of a break and then see what comes up. Once my agent called and said DC had come in, it was quite quick really - probably within 24 hours."
Earlier this year, Wayne was hand on to support his wife in court during her Wagatha Christie trial with Rebekah Vardy.
The final days of the trial saw their husbands, former England strikers Wayne and Jamie Vardy, give evidence.
