Coleen Rooney has been spotted with her foot in a plastic brace and using a crutch for support after suffering a mystery injury.
The 35-year-old mother-of-four looked like she was wincing as she was joined by 36-year-old husband Wayne Rooney at the supermarket as they stocked up on essentials.
Wayne was seen pushing a trolly full of shopping at a branch of Waitrose while Coleen followed him a few steps behind and her pace lowered by her mystery injury.
An exact cause of injury has yet to be revealed, however the brace she has been spotted wearing is traditionally given to patients who have suffered a sprained ankle or broken their foot or toes.
During their low-key shopping trip, Coleen was also spotted carrying a spare shoe as she hobbled around while dressed in a comfy, oversized blue hoodie and black leggings.
The couple looked relaxed in each others’ company – and their trip comes weeks after they opened up about how they navigated all the troubles in their marriage which saw Wayne accused of multiple affairs over the years.
Discussing their highs and lows in an Amazon Prime documentary, Coleen said: "I think the first time we were young so there was a lot of arguing.
“I knew groups that Wayne was hanging round with that weren’t good for him. Lovely people but together, with alcohol, not good.
"And I told him that from day one. I didn’t want him to stop being friends with them, I just didn’t want him to go out in situations with them because they got themselves into bad situations.”
The couple share four children; sons Kai, 12, Klay, seven, Kit, six, and three-year-old Cass.
Coleen’s brace encased foot photos have emerged just days after she enjoyed a day of pampering with some friends.
The star and two friends visited Liverpool-based company Crystal Clear Skincare's brand new Skinstorm facial, to enjoy a full-scale pamper session.
Sharon Hilditch MBE, founder of Crystal Clear, shared details of the luxury treatments Coleen and her friends, Annie Walker, wife of Man City star Kyle Walker, and Ela Brown, wife of retired footballer Michael Brown, enjoyed.
She told the Mirror: "Coleen loved the cooling mask at the end of the treatment and took away some products to carry on her regime at home.
“She said she adored the treatment and her skin was visibly glowing afterwards.”
According to the treatment descriptions, the Skinstorm facial is one of the most advanced skin systems on the market with revolutionary technology that lifts, tones and plumps the skin.
A 90 minute treatment that has 6 elements from Oxy-Ice Needling, resurfacing light shield, a vitamin C Hurricane cleanse and the Hylo Fusion which pumps hyaluronic acid deep in to the skin. This treatment also helps stimulate the production of collagen.
