Coleen Rooney set to recreate I’m A Celeb trial at her £20m Cheshire mansion

Coleen Rooney has revealed she plans to recreate the iconic I’m A Celeb Celebrity Cyclone trial at her £20million Cheshire mansion—and her campmates are invited.

The Liverpudlian, who was runner-up to Danny Jones in the jungle, shared her plans during a chat with Maura Higgins and Dean McCullough on BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show. McCullough, filling in for Greg James, called Rooney alongside Higgins during the segment "Sitting or Standing."

Reflecting on her jungle experience, Rooney said: “I loved that I got to the final, it was such a fun week. We should have all stayed 'til the end—I missed yous when you left.”

She added, “[The Celebrity] Cyclone was so much fun. I’m definitely going to do a Cyclone in my back garden this summer.”

When Higgins asked if they could join in, Rooney happily replied: “Of course!”

Rooney moved into her sprawling mansion in 2021, which features six bedrooms, a swimming pool with a hot tub, a wine cellar, a six-car garage, a snooker room, a steam room, a library, and even a cinema.

The couple reportedly purchased the property in 2017 for £4million, but the project faced delays due to the coronavirus pandemic.

After Higgins and McCullough revealed they had only three hours sleep following their cameo at GK Barry's Wembley show, the WAG also shared that she’d been out celebrating a friend’s 40th the previous night: “To be honest with you, I was out-out last night.”

She added, “It was so good, so many people coming up and saying they loved the show and were sad it’s over. It’s weird because it felt like such a long time in there, and now everyone’s like, ‘There’s nothing left to watch on TV.’”

Rooney admitted she quickly snapped out of the jungle bubble, thanks to being mum to four boys: “As soon as I landed in the UK, I was back with a bang.”

And when McCullough asked if she missed his singing, she joked: “Oh I've got a very lively household, so it's just like being with four Deans, five Deans every morning."

The I’m A Celeb star has four sons; Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six, with husband Wayne.
