Coleen Nolan risked a Loose Women 'fall out' with Ruth Langsford as she made a quip about her co-star's husband Eamonn Holmes during a discussion on the 'rules' of getting romantically involved with a friend's ex.
Ruth was at the head of the panel as the ITV show kicked off a new week of episodes; sitting alongside Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and Janet Street-Porter. The Loose Women discussed a wide range of topics as they were joined by guests, Emmerdale couple Laura Norton and Mark Jordan and one of the final subjects of discussion was whether people should ask permission if they want to pursue a relationship with a friend's former partner.
As the rag line 'Should you ask permission to date a friend's ex?' appeared in screen, Janet was open and honest about being guilty of being involved with friends exes, as well as friends of her own exes, while Coleen said that after she split with a boyfriend of two years, her late sister Bernie ended up living with him, adding that there was no bad blood between her and her sibling as their relationship was 'more important.'
