Speaking about their relationship for the first time, Michael said that he was in a bit of a "dilemma" as he wasn't sure whether he was swiping right on her because he recognised her.
"I had to think about it and do it for the right reasons – not even for one minute thinking she’d reply anyway," he told the publication.
The pair went on to speak about their first date in a pub, near where they both live, and said that there was an "instant connection" and they "never stopped talking".
Afterwards, Coleen said that she knew she "really liked him" and Michael said he loved her after a few months.
"When he said it I just freaked out," she admitted. "I was always having wobbles and telling him I couldn’t see him."
Thankfully, Coleen got over her wobble and said that she loved him soon after, gushing that her love "grows stronger and deeper every day".
Opening up about how its reawakened her sex life, Coleen gushed that it is a "fantastic feeling" and that he looks at her like she's the "best thing since sliced bread".
She added: "Normally I’d be thinking, 'I need to put make-up on or he won’t fancy me or love me!' And Michael’s come along and he just looks at me like I’ve never been looked at before."
