Coleen Nolan 'can't stand divas' after Loose Women feud as she seeks legal action

Coleen Nolan says Loose Women feud talk hurts so much because she can't stomach divas.

The star furiously denies being 'high and mighty' on the set of the ITV show and says the speculation is 'so upsetting'.

She told OK! Magazine that she has had enough drama in her life, so wouldn't create additional issues by being a prima donna.

Rumours emerged that fellow panellists including Stacey Solomon and Nadia Sawalha refused to appear on the programme if the 56-year-old was working on the show.

The former singer insists there is no rift between her and her co-stars and says has been taking legal advice.

Stacey, veteran Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards have all spoken out in defence of Coleen, who has working on the show for two decades.

"Oh it really hurt," she said. "The girls have been so supportive – besides, none of us on Loose Women have ever said we wouldn’t work with anyone else. It was just so upsetting."

Coleen added: "I get on with all of them. I would never refuse to work with anybody.

"I could never be 'high and mighty' because my mother would jump up from her grave and batter me.

"I can’t stand divas of any kind. I’ve had enough drama in my life, I don’t need any more.

"This is my time to enjoy myself, and I’m not going to let anyone spoil it. I just want a quiet life, feeding my goats and doing Loose Women."

The drama hasn't distracted her from finding love and Coleen has finally unmasked the mystery man she has fallen for after matching on Tinder.

Things are going so well that she says they might even get married.

Coleen introduced 57-year-old boyfriend Michael Jones to fans by posing alongside him for a photoshoot and first ever joint interview.

He spoke after spotting her on the dating app and says he wasn't sure at first.

He told the magazine: "It was a bit of a dilemma. You think, 'Am I just swiping because I recognise her?' So I had to think about it and do it for the right reasons – not even for one minute thinking she’d reply anyway.

"The surprising thing for me was that once I’d swiped we were a match straight away, which meant that she’d already liked me."

Michael and Coleen explained that they met for a drink in a pub at 5pm and stayed there downing drinks and getting to know each other until they were finally "kicked out" by staff after 11pm.
