Following the sell-out success of their November 2023 Asia/Australia shows, Coldplay is staging a second run of Asia dates for January and February next year, as part of their record-breaking "Music of the Spheres World Tour". The good news is that the dates include a show at Bangkok's Rajamangala National Stadium on Feb 3.

Since the first "Music of the Spheres World Tour" date in March last year, the British rock band have sold over 7 million tickets -- the most for any tour over the last two years. The tour has also received rave reviews from fans and critics alike, picking up accolades including Favourite Touring Artist at the 2022 AMAs and Tour of the Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards.

Earlier this month, the band issued an update on the tour's sustainability initiatives, revealing that, on a show-by-show comparison, their current tour has so far produced 47% less CO2 emissions than their previous stadium tour in 2016/17, and that 5 million trees have already been planted around the world.

Coldplay is touring Europe to promote their ninth album, Music of the Spheres, which was released in October 2021. The album is the band's second space-themed concept, after 2005's X&Y, and was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, marking the band's third nomination in both categories.

The new dates for next year also include a show in Manila and an unprecedented run of shows at Singapore's National Stadium, with the band becoming the first act to play four nights at the venue.

Presale tickets for all shows including the Bangkok concert will be available on June 19 at 10am local time from signup.coldplay.com, while the public sale will begin on June 20.
