Coffee Prices Weighed Down by Beneficial Brazil Rains

March arabica coffee (KCH25) today is down -5.90 (-1.81%), and March ICE robusta coffee (RMH25) is down -47 (-0.93%).

Coffee prices today are moderately lower.  Recent above-average rain in Brazil eased drought concerns and is weighing on coffee prices.  Coffee prices fell to 4-week lows Tuesday after Somar Meteorologia reported Monday that Brazil's biggest arabica coffee growing area of Minas Gerais received 102.8 mm of rain last week, or 182% of the historical average.
