Coffee Prices Under Pressure as Brazil's Coffee Harvest Accelerates

Sep arabica coffee (KCU23) this morning is unchanged, and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU23) is down -34 (-1.31%).

Coffee prices this morning are mostly lower, with arabica posting a 7-month low and robusta falling to a 2-1/4 month low.  Arabica recovered its losses and is little changed as strength in the Brazilian real against the dollar sparked short covering in arabica futures.  The real (^USDBRL) on Tuesday had fallen to a 2-1/4 month low against the dollar, encouraging export selling by Brazil's coffee producers.
