Coffee Prices Settle Mixed

Ice Arabica Robusta Brazil Cecafe Deficit Vietnam Colombia El Nino Rabobank

Sep arabica coffee (KCU23) on Thursday closed up +0.60 (+0.38%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU23) closed down -9 (-0.36%).

Coffee prices Thursday settled mixed.  Arabica found support after Cecafe reported Thursday that Brazil's Jun arabica coffee exports fell -23% y/y to 2.1 mln bags.  Robusta was under pressure after Cecafe reported Brazil's Jun robusta exports rose +60% y/y to 230,653 bags.  Total Brazil Jun green coffee exports fell -19% y/y to 2.3 mln bags.
