Coffee Prices Retreat on Larger Global Supplies and a Lack of Frost in Brazil

September arabica coffee (KCU24) today is down -8.75 (-3.63%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU24) is down -121 (-2.67%).

Coffee prices today are moderately lower on larger coffee supplies from Brazil after Cecafe reported Brazil's July green coffee exports surged +26% y/y to 3.4 million bags.  Coffee prices extended their losses today on a lack of frost in Brazil, which spared Brazil's coffee crops from damage.  Coffee prices rallied sharply Monday after Rural Clima said widespread frost may occur Tuesday in Brazil's coffee-growing areas.
