Coffee Prices Retreat Due to a Stronger Dollar

September arabica coffee (KCU25) on Thursday closed down -1.25 (-0.41%), and September ICE robusta coffee (RMU25) closed down -115 (-3.36%).

Coffee prices on Thursday settled lower, with arabica falling from a 3-week high due to a stronger dollar.  Long liquidation emerged in most commodities on Thursday after the dollar index (DXY00) rallied to a 3.5-week high.
