Coffee Prices Rally as Dry Weather in Brazil Risks Harming Coffee Crops

May arabica coffee (KCK25) today is up +14.80 (+3.71%), and May ICE robusta coffee (RMK25) is up +37 (+0.66%).

Coffee prices today extended this week's rally, with arabica posting a 2-week high and robusta posting a 1-1/2 week high. Below-normal rain in Brazil may reduce coffee crop yields and is supporting prices. Somar Meteorologia said today that dry and hot weather in Brazil for the rest of this week risks harming coffee crops in their final stage of development ahead of the harvest in May.
