Coffee Prices Plunge on Signs of Possible Tariff Cuts

December arabica coffee (KCZ25) today is down -15.30 (-3.62%), and January ICE robusta coffee (RMF26) is down -235 (-5.09%).

Coffee prices are plunging today, with robusta falling to a 2-week low. Comments from President Trump late Tuesday are hammering coffee prices today when he said, "We're going to lower some tariffs on coffee." Losses in coffee accelerated today after Treasury Secretary Bessent said that there would be "substantial announcements over the next couple of days" on crops not grown in the US, including coffee.
