Coffee Prices Move Higher on Concern About Global Coffee Production

March arabica coffee (KCH24) this morning is up +3.80 (+2.12%), and Jan ICE robusta coffee (RMF24) is up +45 (+1.77%).

Coffee prices this morning are moderately higher.  Concern that dry conditions in Brazil will lead to smaller coffee yields is supporting prices today.  Somar Meteorologia reported Monday that Brazil's Minas Gerais region received 38.7 mm of rainfall in the past week, or 63% of the historical average.  Minas Gerais accounts for about 30% of Brazil's arabica crop.
